Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu proved with their big films that they have fan following outside the Telugu states and with Baahubali franchise emerging as a giant in Indian Cinema by becoming the highest grosser ever, many producers are looking at Telugu Cinema with open arms.
Mahesh Babu's Spyder has set a Non-Baahubali record with Hindi theatrical rights going for 28.2 crores. Next to the record, Pawan Kalyan film, Sardar Gabbar Singh got a deal of 8.5 crores for Hindi rights. Now, another Telugu hero has also found a considerable deal for his movie rights in Hindi.
That hero is none other than Allu Arjun. Bunny, started his acting career with Gangotri and slowly transformed himself into a box office star with films like Aarya, Parugu, Bunny, Happy, Desamuduru, Son of Satyamurthy, Julayi, Rudrama Devi, Race Gurram and Sarrainodu.
He grew a great market for his films in Malayalam and the producers from Kerala quote best prices for his Telugu movie dub rights. Now for Duvvada Jagannadam, Hindi distribution rights have gone for a phenomenal 7 crores. The movie produced by Dil Raju and directed by Harish Shankar is slated for release on 23rd June.
