Young heroes Nara Rohith, Sandeep Kishan, Sudheer Babu and Aadi’s muti-starrer flick ‘Shamantakamani’ is gearing up for release on 14th July. The film is produced by V Anand Prasad and Sriram Adithya directed it. During its promotions, Sudheer Babu interacted with the media and said a lot about the film. On sharing his experiences about ‘Shamantakamani’, he said...
‘I’ve decided to act only in good films and started to pick up stories carefully. After my first film ‘SMS’, ‘Prema Katha Chitram’ happened after one and half year. Now ‘Shamantakamani’ is my film after successful films like ‘Baaghi’ and ‘Bhale Manchi Roju’’.
‘There are few films which impresses both audience as well as critics and ‘Shamantakamani’ is one among them.
My character in this film is not an action oriented one. Though I don’t do comedy, all the characters around me evoke super fun. I am personally attached to this emotional character. It is a different kind of thriller. Every character in this film has equal importance’.
Sriram Adithya narrated this film in a such a way that I could not say no to it. No other multi-starrer stories impressed me which I’ve heard before.
I put in same effort be it hero or villain. If the character is interesting, I would not mind playing a villain in Telugu too. I am ready to act in Mahesh’s film too if is interests me’.
‘I got to know Sriram Adithya’s talent with ‘Bhale Manchi Roju’. I believed in him for ‘Shamantakamani’ too and good thing is that all the actors believed in that script and acted in it’.
‘Currently, I am working with Nara Rohit in ‘Veerabhoga Vasantaraayulu’ and another film with Virinchi Varma’s assistant director Raja. Also, I will be working on the biopic of badminton coach Gopichand. I have to reduce 8 kilos for that film and already started doing that’.
