Sometimes we feel a high positive buzz for a film that is releasing and even though there is one side that is asking us to lower the expectations, the movie's positive vibes doesn't allow us to do so. One such film is Geetha Govindam starring Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna in the direction of Parasuram.
Many thinking that this film is trying to build on the immense popularity of Vijay Devarakonda after the release of his movie Arjun Reddy, which became a cult with youth, today. Director Parasuram talking to media refuted such claims.
He said, "We took Vijay Devarakonda after watching Pelli Choopulu. He asked us to not change even one word in the script after Arjun Reddy and we made our movie with immense confidence and love towards our characters Geetha and Govindam.
Govindam and Geetha are poles apart but their love story is highly relatable. Govindam is also a lover like Arjun Reddy but his character is different to that of Arjun. He is not serious all the time like Arjun but his antics will make you forget Vijay as Arjun and like him as Govindam while watching the movie," concluded the director. Movie is releasing on 15th August.
