Natural star Nani is all set to come up with his new entertainer 'Deva Das' which is scheduled for a release tomorrow on September 27th. On this occasion, Nani participated in an interview and revealed some interesting things about the film. Here are the excerpts.
How is it working with Nagarjuna?
When I signed this project, I thought in so many ways about how Nag sir would treat me and will there be any scope for improvisation on the sets. I thought how will he be as a co-star. The shooting with a song and by afternoon, we were in complete sync. He is a very well-mannered person and always gives scope to the other actors as well. If the audience likes my role, then most of the credit will go to Nag Sir.
Tell us about director Sriram Aditya?
Vyjayanthi banner has this for a long time and we couldn’t find a right director. Then I saw the trailers of 'Samantakamani' and 'Bhale Manchi Roju' and really liked Sriram’s work. We asked him to come up with a final draft. He narrated the full script during my 'MCA' shoot. I loved it and sent it to Nag sir. He also liked the story and the film went on sets. Sriram is a very capable director and handled both of us well.
What can we expect from the film?
Apart from a full-length comedy entertainer, there are some beautiful emotions in the film which will give entertainment. Our chemistry will look lovely on screen.
Status of your upcoming film?
I play a cricketer in the film. I have already started practising the sport. I have been practising for more than three hours as my role demands all the techniques that a batsman should know. This is the most prestigious film in my career and I am very excited about it. I hope this will be a game changer in Telugu cinema.
What changed after Bigg Boss?
I used to be in my own bubble feeling that people around me are very good and soft-spoken before Bigg Boss. The various responses that are coming towards me left me surprised and also gave me a new perspective on life. These three months have been really life-changing.
