Barring Raja The Great, Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja hasn't scored a single hit over the past few years. Last year, he made three films, Nela Ticket, Touch Chesi Chudu and Amar Akbar Anthony and all of them ended up as the disasters at the box office. The routine storyline and commercial treatment have costed his films big time.
Currently, he is doing DIscor Raja in the direction of VI Anand. Ravi is also planning to remake Theri in Telugu with Santosh Srinivas as the director. Meanwhile, we heard that Umesh Gupta, head of Aditya Music, approached Ravi with a new script written by the young director.
But apparently, the actor rejected the film right away. Umesh is the one who made Khakhee, which is considered as one of the finest flicks made in the last couple of years. We wonder what made Ravi reject a script came from that director. Hope he didn't make any wrong choice with it.
