Ace filmmaker Puri Jagannath, who has been going through a lean patch over the past few years, has finally got a respite with the success of iSmart Shankar. The movie collected a gross of Rs.17 crores at the box office on an opening day making it the career-best opener for hero Ram.
Generally, many heroes and directors go on a vacation once they score a hit at the box office. But Puri is in no such league. Irrespective of the film's result, he moves on to the works of his next project immediately. In a recent interview, he stated that the last time he went on a holiday with family was after Pokiri.
Puri also added that even though he went to many countries in the meantime, he used to cater 10-12hours of his days for work only and never went on a full vacation mode since Pokiri. It seems that he is now planning to take a small break and go on holiday with his wife and children.
