Every one of us is aware of the mishap that took place on the sets of Indian 2 recently. Three members of the film's crew died on the spot leaving everyone in big distress. Director Shankar is deeply disturbed of the same and he has been staying away from the media and did not make any statement on the accident so far. Kamal Haasan made a statement and also announced a compensation of 1 crore for the three families.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Kamal Haasan wrote a letter to Subaskaran, Chairman of Lyca Productions where he mentioned that the producers should take safety measures. What's surprising is Kamal writing this letter to his producers. This gesture from him looked like he is blaming the producers.
Instead, he should work with the producers and take the initiative of setting up some standards and safety measures on the sets. Still, Kamal's intentions in this aspect are not clear.
