Anushka’s ‘Bhaagamathie’ is one of the most anticipated films releasing now. Also, with most of the Sankranti films failing to impress, all eyes are on ‘Bhaagamathie’ now which is getting released this Republic Day. This horror thriller is made on a large scale and the budget is estimated to be around 35 crores.
But the makers planned in such a way that it is a safe venture with minimum risk. As per sources, the satellite and digital rights of the film were sold for 11 crores. After that, they have sold the theatrical rights of Tamil and Malayalam version were sold for 10 crores. Studio Green is releasing the film in Tamil.
As the film is released by ‘UV Creations’ themselves in Telugu states, they are left to recover just 15 crores to reach the breakeven. AS there is no heavy competition on that day and Anushka’s craze factor in the aid, the film is sure to enter profits in the second or third week itself.
