SS Rajamouli film is mostly associate with big action episodes and huge VFX sets. He has been the complete commercial director for heroes to get a market boost with his extravagant films. After Vikramarkudu, Rajamouli started changing his tone and experimenting with genres. He made a socio-fantasy with Jr. NTR, Yamadonga. Then made, fantasy folklore with Ram Charan, Magadheera.
Immediately changed to a light hearted comedy, Maryadaramanna, with Sunil as hero. Post them, he went into complete fantasy adventure with smallest of the insects, housefly as the hero. Making an action movie with such a theme made him more confident to go full out with epic folklore Acton drama, Baahubali.
Now, he doesn't want to work with huge VFX operatives and decided to try out a new genre with big actors. At one go, he chose to make an action filled family drama and a multi-starrer with Ram Charan and Jr. NTR as heroes.
The movie will start production from July, 2018 as per the buzz and Danayya will bankroll the film. Jr. NTR and Ram Charan are thrilled to be a part of this movie as Rajamouli's next after Baahubali will give them National exposure. Also, chances are alive that Rajamouli might decide to take Sri Devi as mother of the two to mend the rift created in public during Baahubali 2 promotions. Let's wait and see for other details.
