It has been exactly two years since we saw Power Star Pawan Kalyan on the big screen. His last film Agnyathavaasi released in 2018 during the Sankranthi season and ended up as a disaster. After that, Pawan called it a quit for films to focus on his political career. Unfortunately, that didn't turn well for the actor as his party Jana Sena managed to win only a single seat in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections.
Thus, Pawan is now making his comeback into films and is planning to balance both his film and political careers from now on. The Jalsa actor has signed the Telugu remake of Hindi film Pink. Directed by Venu Sriram, the shoot of this film has begun in Hyderabad. Pawan also joined the shoot and is taking part in it right from day one.
We hear that Anjali, Nivetha Thomas and Ananya Nagalla are playing the other important roles in this film. Apparently, Pooja Hegde will essay a key role in the movie as well. Dil Raju is bankrolling this project. This is Raju's first film with Pawan. S.Thaman is composing the music for it. Watch this space for more updates on this project.
