A group of men in Hyderabad filed a legal case against Priya Prakash Varrier and her upcoming movie 'Oru Adaar Love'. Their claim is that the song from Oru Adaar Love has hurt the religious sentiments of the Muslims.
The actress trashes these allegations and says this is a popular folk song if Kerala. "This is a folk song in Malayalam. It has been in existence for more than 40 years now. The Muslims here in Kerela have it cherished and the other state people who do not get this, may misunderstand those lyrics", Priya said.
