After the blockbuster success of Fidaa, director Shekhar Kammula had an opportunity to work with big actors but he chose to work with newcomers yet again. Shekhar started his new project last year which is a dance based one. The shoot is currently in the final stages.
Meanwhile, he also decided on his next project which is going to be a bigger one. According to the sources, Shekhar will be teaming up with Akkineni Naga Chaitanya for his next project. Sai Pallavi, who was introduced into Telugu by Shekhar, will play the female lead in it. This has been reported by us already and we brought an interesting update on the same project.
Sekhar Kammula might join hands with Samantha to bankroll this project. During the promotions of Oh Baby, Samantha is said to have revealed her wish to become a producer. Apparently, she is said to have the story of this movie and might come on boardto pool the resources.
Apparently, the shoot of this film will go on floors once Shakhar completely gets done with his ongoing project. This is the first time Shekhar doing two projects with such a close gap. More details about this new film are expected to be announced very soon.
