Recently, actor Sai Dharam Tej released the first look of his next release, Jawan with a tag line, Family or Country? Well, the actor seems to be in same dilemma with his movie after Jawan as well, with Karunakaran and V.V. Vinayak in the race.
V.V. Vinayak has decided to make a medium budget movie in his style and prove his mettle as a director after Alludu Seenu and Akhil debacles. Even though his Sankranthi blockbuster Khaidi No. 150 managed to become the second highest grosser in Telugu Cinema after Baahubali franchise, the director did not receive much credit for the movie as the movie was a remake. With his next, the director wants to prove his capacities as a commercial director again.
On the other hand, Karunakaran, the director who created sensation with his first film, TholiPrema remains to be the director of Tholi Prema forever and he wanted to change that over the past two decades. Even though he firmly established his style of story telling and scored hits like Darling and Ullasamga Utshahamga, still he is not considered among the big directors and he wants to change that with Sai Dharam's movie.
So whose movie will Sai Dharam choose to start next, has become a big topic discussion among the Tollywood insiders and fans of the actor. Several want him to take up V.V. Vinayak's subject as he can give him a base in the mass audience and others want him to go for Karunakaran as the director can improve comic timing and give him a 'class' base.
Can you help the actor in his dilemma? Whom should he pick next?
