Released in 1994, Jagapathi Babu starrer, 'Subhalagnam' movie is undoubtedly one of the super hit movies which came out with the different concept of a wife selling her husband.
Directed by SV Krishna Reddy, the story of the movie revolves around Aamani selling her husband Jagapathi Babu to Roja for 1 crore but later realizes that her life is empty without her husband and sets out to get him back. Now, 25 years later when Jagapathi Babu is busy doing villain roles in Tollywood, rumors are coming out that a sequel to this movie is going to be made. 70 MM Entertainments banner which previously bankrolled 'Yatra' is going to pool the resources for 'Subhalagnam' sequel.
A newcomer is reportedly going to helm this project. We have to wait and see if Jagapathi Babu is going to play the lead role as the husband again or not.
