Succesful hero Aadhi’s third film ‘Sukumarudu’ has created a hype before the release. That is because the producer of this movie K.V.V. Sathyanarayana has given three hit movies long back. Since His Son Venugopal produced people expected this movie to be a wholesome family entertainer. ‘Pilla Zamindar’ fame Ashok wielded megaphone for this movie. This is another positive factor for this film. So… let us see how far ‘Sukumarudu’ attracts audience.

Story

This story is similar to ‘Greekuveerudu’. Sukumar (Adhi) is a NRI Guy. He is versy selfish. Sukumar don’t care about family Values and Human relations. He gives preference only for the money. With a successful career going on Sukumar gets big deal of a project. For that he needs huge money. At this point, he comes to know about the property worth 150Crores is waiting for him in his village. So he comes to india and goes to his village. He meets his grandmother Vardhanamma (Saradha) and tries in many ways to get the property. One side Sukumar tries for the property and the otherside he will have affair with Sankari (Nishg Agarwal). So, Will sukumar succeed in getting the property, will he marry his lover Sankari.. will he realise the human values.. That forms the rest of the story.

Filmybuzz opinion

There is nothing new in this plot. Even Ashok falied to present the story in a new way. Screenplay is one of the minus point. Dialogues are average. Even cinematography is not upto the mark. Editing part should have been better. Anoop Rubens music is average. His background score is very heavy. Technically there is nothing much to tell about this movie. Coming to the performance.. Adhi done best in dances and fights. But he should improve his performance in emotional scenes. Nisha character has nothing to prove regarding acting. Super star krishna and Sharada are advantage of this movie. Therre presence in the movie is a releif for audience. Comedy track is very boring. Comedians tried their best to entertain audience. But all the efforts goes in vain. Direction of Ashok is not upto the mark.

Overall ‘Sukumarudu’ wii not connect for either youth or families. Lenghty also. If u wanted a attractive sukumarudu definetly you will be disappointed.
