Story:
Musugu movie revolves around Manoj (Manoj Krishna) and Pooja (Pujasri) who start their resort business in Goa. After some time, Manoj becomes close to Jessi (Jessi) who is an insurance agent. In an interesting twist, they hatched a plan to kills Pooja to get insurance money after Pooja's death. As per the plan, they drove straight to Pooja's place to eliminate her.
But to their utter shock, Pooja was died by then. She ended her life by committing suicide.
What is the real truth behind Pooja's death? What is Manoj- Jessi's next plan?

Performances:
All the actors are Ok in their roles. Manoj Krishna is impressive in his role. Jessy gave red hot treat to movie lovers and attracts with her beauty. Others performed according to their roles.
Technical:
Music is just average and songs disturb the flow but background score is good. Heroine upped her glamour in the songs and they attract masses with her skin show. The editor could have edited the scenes even better. Production values are Ok but the locations of Goa have shot well. The director should have included some new elements to interest viewers.

Analysis:
Director Srikar Babu has come out with an interesting concept but he failed to execute his ideas on screen. Though Srikar impresses with his direction in some scenes, many are dragged and the story turned out to be routine. The director seems to have depended more on the erotic scenes rather than elevating the trill.
Right from the beginning Musugu drags at a snails pace. After the slow beginning, the film picks pace with twists and turns. But after some twists before the interval, he failed to continue the suspense till the end. However, pre-climax and climax generated much interest and the way suspense was revealed is also impressive. The audience can watch this film for the interesting concept and erotic scenes.
