After a handful of love stories, Naga Chaitanya is coming up with a family entertainer, ‘Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam’. The film has a huge bunch of character artists and the music is well garnered by the audience. The film is releasing amidst huge expectations and let us see how is fared.
Siva (Naga Chaitanya) meets Bhramaramba (Rakul Preet) in his Cousin’s marriage and falls for her. Bhramaramba shifts to Vizag for higher studies where Siva lives. Siva tries to woo her but small misunderstandings set them apart.
In the meanwhile, Aadi (Sampath) fixes Brahmaramba’s marriage with some other person. While solving this problem, Siva comes to know about the rift between Aadi and his father Krishna (Jagapathi Babu). Rest of the story is all about how Siva solves these conflicts and wins his love.
Naga Chaitanya is improving as an actor with every film and with ‘Rarandoi’, he showed a lot of ease and maturity in his acting. He carried the film effortlessly.
Rakul Preet is amazing as a traditional girl and gave her best output. The chemistry between the lead pair is so adorable and the main asset of this film. She is pitch perfect. Rakul and Nagaitanya both look good together.
Vennela Kishore is very hilarious in his role. Jagapathi Babu is fine and so is Sampath. There are so many artists including Chalapati rao, Pruthvi, Raghu babu, Posani and Taagubothi Ramesh in this film and everyone performed within their limits.
Cinematography by Vishweshwar is very good and showcased the film in a colorful way. Music by Devi Sri Prasad is one of the biggest assets of the film. His songs and background score added more weight to this film. The film has superb sets erected for all the songs. Editing by Goutham Raju is adequate though the second half needs to be trimmed a bit. There are some dialogues that have worked very well. Production values by Annapurna Studios are top notch.

Break up scene
Slow narration in second half
The first half of Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam is high on entertainment quotient but the second half is bit slow. Naga Chaitanya and Rakul Preet Singh's performances and the sparkling chemistry between the duo are the highlights of the movie.
Coming to director kalyan Krishna, after a super hit like ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’, he played it safe by picking up another family entertainer. Though there is nothing new in terms of story and resembles ‘Ninne Pelladatha’, he manages to narrate the film in an entertaining way. The first half is racy with fun moments and the second half is dealt in an emotional way. He managed to extract good performances from the cast but had he dealt the latter part more cautiously, the film would have been better.
On the whole, ‘Rarandoi Veduka Choodham’ is a good romantic family entertainer. Though the slow second half and the routine story may disappoint some, entertaining first half and good performances by the lead cast saves the film. While the romantic track is endearing, the emotional part is a slight let down. Overall, Rarandoi Veduka Chuddam is a family drama film with a good dose of romance, comedy and action.
It's a cool family entertainer for this hot summer!!
