He disguises himself and goes missing during the 280th mission and comes back to the lime light after a long time. The Terrorist Squad becomes alert and starts searching for Ajay. Performances: Ajith was seen in his career's biggest budgeted flick. Ajith has carried the movie on his shoulders for the entire movie. The film has come out well and his performance is a major highlight of the film. Ajith worked really hard for the movie and he has lived up to the expectations of the role he was given. Kajal Aggarwal was good and absolutely there is no scope for the glam show in the film but Kajal has given her best for the film. She will be remembered for the role she played in the film. Akshara Haasan played a key role in the film that has a less runtime in the movie. She impressed with her performance. Vivek Oberoi is another attraction for the film. He also played his role well.
Technical Values: The film has got a international level look. The story has a universal appeal. The director Siva worked hard for the film and he has come out with a film which is on par with the standards of Hollywood cinema.
The fans of Ajith will certainly like the film and they will be enjoying a big feast in the form of Vivekam. The screenplay and story are also in the Hollywood films format which might not go well with the regional audiences. The narration is a bit confusing too. The music scored by Anirudh is good and the background score impressed everyone a lot. The chasing episodes have come out well. The cinematography by Vetri is amazing. The production values are grand.
Plus Points:Ajith Performance, BGM, Grand Visuals, Action Scenes
Minus Points:Story, Logic Less Scenes, Songs
Verdict: On a whole, the film Vivekam is a complete technology based action entertainer where the first half turns out to be an average one and then the second half of the film is the damage with the confusing screenplay which a common man can't understand well. This is a big drawback. But, in the end, it is a letdown and a huge disappointment.
Final Verdict: Confused Vivekam
