A lot of young directors try to come up with their first film having love and family as a backdrop. In the same manner, the female director Akshata has also come up with an interesting story and she herself played the heroine role in the film. This is something very special that we don't witness in the regular movies. We are talking about the movie Shekaram Gari Abbayi and let's check out the review of the film here.
Story: Hero Sadhik (Vinnu Mardhapati) lives with his family beside heroine Apsara (Akshata)'s family. He loves her in the first sight itself. He starts doing friendship with her and slowly converts that into love but she rejects his love because he does not do anything great. Having disappointed with the same the hero starts his journey to become a good samaratarian in the society. In the meantime, a random guy who wants to take revenge over the hero starts becoming close to the heroine. What happens next? Will the hero be able to win heroine's love? Forms the rest of the story.
Plus points: The love story in the movie is the major plus point of the film as the lead actors are fresh the love story impresses to the core. There is an interest and curiosity while the makers are narrating the story. Both the lead actors played really very well in the film. In terms of performances both the heroine did their best and they excelled in emotional scenes. The first half of the film appears boring and not natural but the interval point is really very nice. There is a flashback that creates a unique curiosity and the production values are grand.
Minus points: There are a lot of minus points in the film. The story looks improper at times and also there is no proper screenplay for the story that has been selected. The main purpose of the story is completely missing in the movie and the actors are not explored completely. There are certain elements of comedy, entertainment and emotion missing and we can see them only in parts. The hero appears to be a drawback for the film as he could not act well. The flashback of the movie appears flat. There is no proper movement in the flow of the film. The comedy also appears to be a negative point as it deviates the audience's interest. At times we may also feel that the movie is literally testing our patience and creates a boredom.
Technical Aspects: The director Akshata cooked up an interesting formula for the film in the backdrop of a family and she did her best to come out with a good output technically. There are no proper values when it comes to the story of the film but the cinematography is good. The editing is nice and the music has also come out well in the film. The background score is good. The production values maintained by the producers are nice.
Verdict: The film did not entertain at all. There are no proper romantic track, comedy or family emotions. The only thing that the makers banked on is a story which did not turn out well in the ending. Except for the performances, the film has nothing to offer and it failed to impress.
