Ravi Teja has started his second innings with Raja The Great and after that he did a film titled as Touch Chesi Chudu, but this failed to impress the audience, and now Ravi Teja is back again with a new project film Nela Ticket.
Malvika Sharma is the new heroine making her debut with the film. Kalyan Krishna Kurasala is the director who helmed the project. The film is said to be a mass entertainer.
The expectations of the audience have reached sky high with the trailer and songs. Let's see whether it reached the expectations or not in the review we presented below.
Ravi Teja, an orphan comes to Hyderabad from Visakhapatnam. He earns a life by uttering false witness in court. One day, he crosses the path of Home Minister Aditya Bhupathi (Jagapathi Babu). Slowly, Aditya learns that Ravi Teja is on a mission to end his life. What happens then? What is the purpose? Forms the story of the movie.
Ravi Teja is known for his power-packed performance and started his second innings with Raja The Great. Nela Ticket team failed to impress the audience and make use of the energy of Ravi Teja.
The film didn't make use of comedy timing of the actor. Malavika Sharma added glamour to the screen and quite impress the audience with her presence. The remaining characters like Jagapathi Babu hog the limelight and supporting characters Brahmanandam, Ali and others did well in their respective roles.
Cut into the technical aspects, the director Kalyan Krishna failed to impress the audience with his poor narration. The screenplay and narration give a headache to the audience and even test their patience. The makers didn't use the energy of the actor and even 1970's narration theme also didn't work well. The cinematography is excellent, and the BGM needs special mention. The editing is ok, but the production values are top notch.
Nela Ticket failed miserably in living up to the expectations. The film that promised a mass feast for the fans and audiences could not entertain even with decent comedy. The weak screenplay and an outdated story are big spoilers for this movie.
The uneven story-telling is a big minus point for the movie. The film never appears exciting because of the discussion about too many points which are unnecessary. There is no end point for the story in the movie and hence it resulted in a boring feast. The songs also appeared as speed breakers in the movie.
Except for Ravi Teja's energetic performance and the interval block, the film has nothing great to mention about. The film repeats the failure phase for Ravi Teja.
