Story: Raj (Raj Tarun) falls for Charitha (Riddhi), who works as a Nurse. Charitha smells a mistake at her work place and it lands her into multiple troubles. When she gets ready to marry Raj, her troubles increases. What did Raj do to save Charitha? Who's the troublemaker for Charitha? What happens in the end? forms the story of the movie.
Performances: Raj Tarun and Riddhi Kumar are a good pair in the film. Both of them played their parts well. Raj Tarun impressed with yet another performance that brought a lot of energy to the movie. Riddhi Kumar is okay regarding looks, but she could have done much better in the film. Sachin Kedhkar, Rajeev Kanakala, Ajay, and Subbaraj have played vital roles in the movie. They did justice for the roles they were offered. The rest of the cast made their presence felt.
Technical Aspects: The cinematography by Sameer Reddy is top notch. His camera work is fantastic and there is no second thought about it. The editing by Praveen Pudi is neat and decent. AS Prakash's artwork is excellent. The music directors have given wonderful songs for the movie, and the background score is heart touching too. The writing by the director Anish Krishna is good, and the dialogues have come out well.
Verdict: The film Lover is said to be an entertaining tale that has Romantic elements in the first place but in reality, it is not as entertaining as it was sold. The first of the film is completely about the testing tale between the hero and the heroine. The second half of the movie turns into a serious mode as the conflict arises. The hero and heroine managers to keep the Romance fresh when the story shifts to Kerala but it only tests the patience. The film appears like it is going to end the next minute but then there is some other sequence that comes in. There are a lot of boring elements in the film but the director tried his best to manage it with some comedy scenes. On the whole, the film never appears to be a appealing and ends as a disappointment.
