Happening hero Shaurya teamed up with Kashmiri Paradesi and Yamini Bhaskar for the first time for the movie titled @Narthanasala. the film has got multiple interesting elements as the makers have been promoting it aggressively. Ira creations banner owned by Naga Shourya's parents produced this movie.
Naga Shaurya is very confident about the success of the movie and he is hopeful that he will get another hit afterChalo in his home banner. The makers did not release any theatrical trailer for the film as they wanted the movie to be fresh for the audiences. The movie is directed by the newcomer named Srinivas Chakravarthy. Naga Shaurya played a gay in the film. The movie is in theaters from today. Check out the film's review here.
Story: Radha Krishna (Naga Shaurya) pretends to be a Gay to avoid the marriage with Satya (Yamini). But, he actually loves Manasa (Kashmiri Pardesi). Manasa happens to be Satya's sister and Radha Krishna finds it hard to get approval for his marriage.
What did he do to marry Satya? How did Radha Krishna manage Manasa? What happens in the end? Forms the story of the movie.
Performances: Naga Shaurya has played a decent role in the film to impress everyone. His performance has got the potential to entertain the audiences but the story did not support him much. This is a different character for him in his career and he attempted it impressively. The heroines Yamini Bhaskar and Kashmir are good in terms of glamour and also performed well.
The glamour show from the heroines is impressive. Shivaji Raja tried his best to entertain the audiences with his comedy. He played a decent role too. The other cast tried their best to put good performances and made their presence felt.
Technical Aspects: The camera or the Vijay C Kumar is neat and impressive. His visuals are good and looked rich. The music of the movie is a major plus point as all the songs have come out well and the director also picturized them neatly. The editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is sharp.
The background score of the movie is nice and elevated the movie properly. The artwork is excellent and the entire technical team did a decent job. The production values by Ira creations are grand.
Verdict: The film tells an interesting point but the unique concept was not narrated in an impressive way. The director wanted not to take the film in a serious manner and hence tried to include a lot of comedy elements. Unfortunately, the film was poor in all the aspects.
The director came up with comedy as a key element in the story but it failed to tickle the bones of the viewers. Though the makers have spent a lot of money on making, the weak content of the film could not help Shaurya who did his part well in the film. The first half of the movie has less entertainment and the second half tries to confuse with the plot.
On the whole, the film lacks the much needed entertaining elements that would make the film a hit.
