After scoring a debacle like 'Vunnadi Okate Zindagi', Energetic hero Ram teamed up with the second female lead in that movie, Anupama Parameswaran and came up with 'Hello Guru Prema Kosame'.
Director Trinadha Rao Nakkina who previously delivered some entertaining love stories like 'Cinema Chupista Mama', 'Nenu Local' etc helmed this project. Dil Raju who faced two failures this year is testing his luck again with this film. The teaser and trailer of the film have already created a decent buzz. The movie made a grand release today. Let's check out the review of the film.
Story : Sanju (Ram Pothineni) is a happy-go-lucky-kid of a person who resides in Kakinada and wants to become a software engineer. At a point, he decides to take up a job and moves to Hyderabad. He gets his accommodation at his friend relative Prakash Raj’s home in Hyderabad. There, he falls for Prakash Raj's daughter (Anupama Parameswaran). But Prakash Raj wants his daughter to be married to an NRI. What happens then? Whom did Anupama actually marry? Who is Reethu? Forms the story of the movie.
Performances : Ram looked handsome in this film and played another romantic guy role just like he did in his previous flicks. His dialogue delivery is nice. Anupama looked beautiful in the film. She will definitely grab the eyeballs with her cute expressions and magical smile. The chemistry between the lead pair worked out well. Prakash Raj has once again proved his versatility as an actor.
He delivered his best performance. His role will make us laugh, feel emotional and connect easily. Pranitha looked gorgeous in the film and impresses the audience. Posani Krishna Murali also did a decent performance. Sithara gave her best to the role. Senior actor Suresh also did a good job. Jaya Prakash got an interesting role in the film and he gave his best. The rest of the cast members also made their presence felt.
Technical Aspects : Sri Venkateswara Creations production values are rich. Devi Sri Prasad will sure get some brownie points for his music. His BGM is pleasant and quite impressive. Vijay C Chakravarthy handled the camera well. Karthika Srinivas's editing is clean and neat. The artwork is excellent.
Verdict : The story is not too routine and not out-of-box kind but has a feel-good and entertaining narration which made it easier for the audience to watch the film without getting bored. Trinadha Rao knows how to engage the audience just with comedy and he did it again with this film. His narration is not that slow and not annoying. The story is not upto the mark.
The routine story will be a minus point for the film but the entertainment covers up for that. 'Hello Guru Prema Kosame' justifies its title as it is a pure love story. The father-daughter sentiment is shown beautifully in the movie. There are not many boring scenes in the film and comedy timing is perfect. The first half is full of entertainment. The interval scene ends unfolding an unpredictable twist in the plot. The second half is decent. Overall, the movie is a one-time watch film which is a blend of love, entertainment, comedy and sentiment.
