Chadalavada Padmavathi, the producer who brought the dubbing films Bichchagadu and D16 to the Telugu audiences has come up with a straight Telugu movie now in the form of Kartha Karma Kriya. Nagu Gavara is the director of the film who earlier made the debut with the film Weekend Love. The film created a special interest with the teaser and trailer already. Story: Siddhu (Vasanth Sameer) works in a cell phone repair shop and passes time with his friend Yadu (Ram Prasad), He falls for Mythri (Sehar) who works in a motor bike showroom. He falls for Mythri in the first sight itself.
When Siddhu is about to propose his love for Sehar, she reveals that her sister Divya died suspiciously. She asks his help to find the reasons for the death of Divya. Who is Divya? Did Siddhu has a connection with Divya? How did Divya actually die? Forms the story of the movie.
Performances: Vasanth Sameer, the lead hero played a character with different shades. Vasanth impressed with his performance and scored decent marks. His screen presence is good and emoted the character very well. Especially, Vasanth played his part very well in the climax. His intensity on the screen is nice.
Sehar, the film's heroine looked cute and traditional in the film. She has portrayed some expressions very well on the screen. She emoted certain key emotions perfectly in the movie. Her scenes with the hero have come out well. Ravi Varma's character in the second half of the movie is good and it impressed one and all. His role is the major attraction of the movie.
Technical Aspects: The music scored by Shravan Bharadwaj is good and the background score of the movie got elevated well too. Durga Kishore's camera work is decent and it was impressive in some emotional sequences. The editing is decent and the artwork is excellent. The production values of the movie are okay.
Verdict: The director Nagu Gavara has picked up an interesting story line that goes well with the youth. The story is a mirror reflection of the happenings in the current society. The film's story got elevated with an interesting screenplay. The audiences found a connection with the film's story and it helped the director to take the viewers more into the story.
The curiosity that the trailer has created with the film was maintained well in the movie. The performances of the lead actors is good and it is a plus point in the movie. With a decent story and impressive screenplay, the film Kartha Karma Kriya entertained the audiences.
