Unfortunately, he is made to involve in a murder case that changes his life upside down. What happens then? How did he come out? Forms the story of the movie.
Performances: Tanish acted well as Lara in the film. He improved a lot in terms of performance and carrid out the emotional scenes well. The mass scenes tried to elevate him as a mass hero. Actor Shafi has given good support for Tanish as per his character limitations. Paruchuri Ravi played a key role in the film after a long time. The heroine Priya Singh is good and played her part well as per her character expectations. She is good in the emotional scenes. Posani and other senior actors are good and impressed in their roles.
Technical Aspects: The cinematography is too good in the film. Every frame has the richness. The music scored by Yogeshwara Sharma is decent. The runtime of the film is a bit more and it could have been chopped off. The dialogues and the script assistance given by Paruchuri Brothers is impressive. The production values are grand. The artwork is excellent.
Verdict: The film does not easily fall under any genre as there are all elements in equal proportion. Most importantly, the film is hero driven. The point is very much interesting and the director executed it well too. The movie Rangu is commercially made well. The director Karthikeya took a lot of care in setting up a decent background for the movie. The narration is gripping and helped the film run at a good pace. On the whole, the film Rangu lives up to the expectations and ends as a decent mass entertainer.
