Sharwanand has given the best output as a gangster in the movie. His stylish appearance, massy looks and energetic performance will definitely impress the audience. Sharwanand breathes life into his character. Both Kajal Agarwal and Kalyani Priyadarshan looked gorgeous and delivered good performances in the movie. Both maintained beautiful chemistry with Sharwanand.
Especially, the scenes between Kalyani and Sharwanand are showcased in a beautiful way. Murali Sharma got a meaty role in this movie and he has delivered a decent performance. Raja and Ajay delivered honest performances. Adarsh acted well. The rest of the actors also made their presence felt.
Director Sudheer Varma has come up with an interesting storyline with this movie. The way he has dealt with the complex story like this is impressive. He has designed strong characters in the movie which will leave an impact on the audience. Production values by Sitara Entertainments are lavish. Surya Devara Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments banner is lavish. We can say that the production values will become big plus points for this movie. Music by Prashanth Pillai is excellent. Especially his background score suited well for the movie. Cinematographer Divakar Mani will impress the audience with his camera angles. Editing by Naveen Nooli is clean.
The story runs in two different eras. When compared with the present one, we can say that the story with 80s backdrop is handled well. Especially, in the first half, the love track along with the action backdrop is showcased in a beautiful way. Having a solid story really became one of the plus points for the film. When compared to the first half, the second half becomes a little bit boring but Sharwanand's amazing performance will make the audience stick to their chairs.
Sharwa's performance, especially in the salt and pepper look, action scenes, dialogues, and story, can be considered as the plus points of the film. To conclude, 'Ranarangam' will not only impress Sharwa's fans but also all the audience.
