Story: Ajay Krishna (Mahesh Babu) is an army major who lands in Kurnool on a purpose. Ajay wants to help his colleague's family and meets his colleague's mother Bharathi (Vijaya Shanthi), but by then, she is already in a big problem, posed by Nagendra (Prakash Raj). The rest of the story is all about how Ajay helped Bharathi's family in solving her problems.
Performances: Mahesh Babu is undoubtedly the show stealer of this movie. The actor has delivered his career-best performance in this movie as an army officer. Especially, in the mass action sequences, Mahesh Babu breathes life into his character. Rashmika Mandanna will impress the audience not only with her beauty but also with her flawless performance. As usual, Vijaya Shanthi play a powerful role in the film and her performance added more strength to the film. Prakash Raj is too good in his role. He went under the skin of the character and delivered his best performance. Rajendra Prasad justified his role completely. Vennela Kishore went under the skin of the character. The rest of the actors like Subbaraju, Naresh, Bandla Ganesh, Sangeeta, Hari Teja, etc delivered decent performances in their respective characters.
Technical Aspects: Director Anil Ravipudi came up with a great script for this movie. Despite having an army backdrop, director Anil Ravipudi has succeeded in making the movie as engaging and entertaining as possible. His pace of narration also made the audience stick to their chairs. Production values by Dil Raju and Anil Sunkara are lavish. Music by Devi Sri Prasad is one of the biggest plus points for this film. Only a couple of songs succeeded in impressing the audience. But, DSP's BGM elevated all the scenes in the film. Cinematographer R Rathnavelu produced some bright and beautiful visuals for the movie which added more strength to the film. Editing by Tammiraju is clean and neat.
Verdict: Having a great storyline became the major driving factor for this film. The first half will be an entertaining ride for the audience. Especially, the train sequence will be a laugh riot. The entire Train episode will be hilarious and will make the audience connect with the storyline easily. The scenes between Mahesh Babu and Vijaya Shanthi are also showcased in a beautiful way. Dialogues that comes between Mahesh Babu and Prakash Raj are too good. The pre-interval scene will be an eye feast. The second half is also equally engaging. The pre-climax and climax are also handled well. Despite having a lengthy runtime, the audience won't get detached to the story. Performances, narration, and entertainment are the biggest plus points of this film. Overall, Sarileru Neekevvaru is a must watch Anil Ravipudi mark family entertainer.
