After taking a long break, Akkineni hero Sushanth is aiming to come back in full form with Aatadukundam Raa. So he teamed up with director Nageswara Reddy and the film has hit theaters today.Let us see how good the film is.
Story
Anand (Anand) and Vijay Ram (Murali Sharma) are two close friends. They are into several business ventures. But their rivals have hatched a plan to split them. Vijay Ram lost his property and he accuses Anand of cheating. They parted ways after this incident.
Many years later, Anand's son Karthik (Sushanth) comes to India with a mission. He enters into Vijay Ram's life and tries to solve their problems.
What is Karthik's secret mission? Will Anand and Vijay re-unite? Watch the film on big screen to know the reasons.
Performance
Sushanth's has taken care of his looks and his image make over is good. He fits the bill perfectly as he pulls his role with ease. He seem to be very confident and has a good grace as a dancer. Sushanth has also improved tremendously in acting.
Sonam Bajwa made a decent debut with this film. She is a perfect package of attraction and sex appeal. Sonam is there for visual feast. The roles of Murali Sharma and Aanda were wasted in this film and were not upto mark.
Brahmanandam was regular and his comedy was dumb. 30 years Pruthvi as a TV serial brings some laughs. Others performed what is required for their roles.
Technical
Cinematography is neat. Anup Rubens's background score is good but songs are not catchy.Editing is below average and the flow is hampered at times.. The songs have been shot well.
Production values are top notch and made a lavish film. The movie is stylishly shot and you can see the richness in every frame. Director Nageswara Reddy made some good comic entertainers in the past but this time is the biggest let down.

Analysis
The fans of Akkineni family will surely be happy with Sushanth's much improved acting skills and his energetic dance moves. But Aatadukundam Raa's story has nothing new to offer. Many scenes appear quite stale and cliched. The graph of the film keeps dipping at many places.
Sushant's new looks are good. Sonam looked ravishing in songs. The interval bang was extremely good and it holds the attention of the audience. The special cameos of Akhil and Naga Chaitanya have come out well. Prudvi's comedy with Sushanth brings some laughs.
On the whole, Aatadukundam Raa makes an okay watch for it's entertainment.
