Touted to be a crime thriller, this movie Aithe 2.0 gained quite a little buzz even before it hit the theatres. So, Here is the review of this thriller. Kaushik Abhimanyu takes the cinematography care. Rajeev Nair is the Art Director. Writer Kittu Vissapragada has penned the dialogues and lyrics.
Story:
The movie is all about the engineering graduates who are all unemployed. Their unemployment lands them into debts. Upen, Arjun, Kiran, Izaz, Rekha, and Usha are the graduates who fail to get placed in the jobs. In spite of all their trials and tribulations, these friends do not get jobs. They start writing their programs and create their coding tasks.
The gang eventually get to work with software companies by providing them ghost coding options and plans. They get an idea to commit a significant crime using their coding and hacking skills. How they get into the criminal world with their coding skills, what happens next, is to be watched in the theatres only.
Performances:
Aithe 2.0 has a bunch of young and new talented people. Indraneil Sengupta, Zara Shah, Abhishek, Kartavya Sharma, Neeraj, Mrunal, Mridanjli and Dr Srikanth, the principal members of the cast.
All of them, have performed well in their roles. The main cast justified their roles well and kept the impact. Though the actors need more intensity, it can be explained, as the narration came out well. There is no deviation, and the genuine attempt by the actors must be appreciated.
Technicalities:
The direction and technical team must be appreciated for the attempt itself. While keeping the entertainment factor going well, the makers also took the thrill in the story to the next level.
The story needs to be trimmed. The narration is pretty good and keeps the audience engaged all the way. A good techno-thriller which can be pronounced as a 'fascinating' movie. Music is by Arun Chiluveru is in sync with the narration. The cinematography is by Kaushik Abhimanyu is pretty good but, could have been better. Technical values are fair enough.
Verdict:
A good attempt. It is not a simple thing to attempt such movies. Aithe 2.0 falls under techno-thriller, which is not easy to make the audience involved. The team succeeds in keeping the audience engaged.
A genuine attempt from the makers in coming up with a slick multi-layered drama on what youth can accomplish & how human intellect is far superior to power and wealth.
