Story:
Lakshminarayana (Suman) runs a sweet shop. He wants to help four people who stood by him during his difficult days. He helped three members but he passed away before helping third person. His son Chaitanya (Surya Teja), who is a happy go guy, wanted to fulfill his father's wish and decided to help the fourth person. Jagadish Chandra (Naresh) who is also into business denied taking Chaitanya's favour. But after twists and turns, Jagadish Chandra asks Chaitanya to marry his daughter Rupa (Harshika Poonacha). But he and Rupa confronted on several occasions.
What made Jagadish to ask like this? Will Chaitanya fulfill her father's wish? Whatch the movie to find out the reasons.
Performances:
Its a debut movie for Surya Teja but he is a perfect fit in his role and brings a lot of depth. His expressions and dialogue delivery are good. Surya Teja is yet another young actor to watch out for in future and let us hope he gets more offers soon. Harshika Punacha looks cute but acting wise, she must work on performance during emotional scenes. Naresh is impressive as usual. His screen presence adds value to the film.
Technicalities:
Production values are good as the makers have not compromised on the look of the film. Sunil Kashyap’s songs are not catchy, but the background is good. It appears that the editor has done a poor job as he could have easily chopped off many dragged scenes to reduce run time.

Analysis:
Story of Appudala Ippudila is routine and has been dealt many a times before. But we must appreciate the makers for selecting a good theme and their take on human values.
However, after a major twist in the film, it gets predictable. The first of the film is good compare to second half with comedy scenes and youthful performances and the director could have added many interesting scenes in the second half. Some of the scenes appear a little cliched and melodramatic. In all, Appudala Ippudila is a below par family entertainer.
