Talented hero Nara Rohith films always have special craze at the box office. Everyone has an opinion that the actor will come up with unique scripts and good entertainment. Living up to the expectations, the actor has come up with a commercial film for the first time in his career. The film is titled Balakrishnudu which is an actioner that introduces Pavan Mallela as a director. Let us check out the review of the film here.
Story : The film has a Rayalaseema backdrop where Bhanumathi Devi (Ramya Krishna) and Prathap Reddy(Ajay) has a rivalry. Prathap Reddy wants to take revenge by killing Aadhya (Regina), the niece of Bhanumathi but she takes great care of Aadhya and appoints Balu (Nara Rohith) as her caretaker. What did Prathap Reddy do to take his revenge? How did Balu save Aadhya? forms the rest of the story of the movie that involves a lot of twists and turns.
Performances : Nara Rohith worked on his body for the movie and has sported a slim look. Though this is his first commercial film, he did not do anything less in impressing the audiences. The film looks fresh with Rohith's screen presence. Regina impressed everyone with her looks and glamour. She performed well and Ramya Krishna is also impressive as Bhanumathi Devi. Ajay did a good role after a long time. The major highlight of the movie is the comedy and all the actors performed well.
Technical Aspects : The film's technical team gets good marks. The production values of the movie are very rich. Pavan Mallela's taking is impressive. The way the screenplay has turned out is also amazing. A lot of care has been taken in making the film which is worth. The camera work by Vijay C Kumar is good. The music scored by Mani Sharma has impressed all and he scores well with BGM. The editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is nice. All the other things have fallen in place for the film.

Verdict : The film Balakrishnudu comes up with a good story and it finally impresses us big time at the box office. The film has the commercial elements mixed well in the screenplay and the comedy stands as a major highlight of the movie. The film's lead actors have put decent performances and Prudhvi's comedy timing is an additional asset for the film. The director was confident about the comedy from the beginning and it finally paid off. The comedy of Srinivas Reddy also worked big time in the second half. The sentiment, emotional scenes are the key elements in the film which comes during the climax of the movie.
