We prefer to identify ourselves with the city or area we belong to so that the city's or area's character is immediately identified with us. Also, we get favours from people who have this regional feeling at the deepest routes in their thinking. A guy from Chennai came to Telugu theatres with his story as, "Chennai Chinnodu."
Story:
Kumar (GV Prakash) is an young metro boy who wants to marry his love, Priya (Nikki Galrani) and start a settled life in the city. But there is a catch, he cannot forget his ex-lover Nancy (Anandi).
In this confusion, he goes for a bachelor party to Puducherry and there he ends up in trouble with a cop, Manimaran (Prakash Raj). He has to escape from him and meet his 'real' love. How will he do that? In two women, who is his real love? Watch the film for answers ...
Performances:
GV Prakash Kumar is decent in his comic timing and acting skills. His style of acting is right blank or over the top. He needs to come out of that mould and try new things to improve.
Anandi is pretty but doesn't have a good character arc in a messy screenplay. Nikki Galrani is usual but shines here and there in comedy scenes.
Prakash Raj and others are usual. We don't see them being extraordinary and they are ordinary in what they do.
Technicalities:
Camera work by Shakti Sarvanan is up to the standards of a movie that we are accustomed to see from M. Rajesh. But for the budget, we can not demand more too.
Editing by Vivek Harshan is uneven. He is able to keep the first half crisp but second half in order to be true to the script, his chooses to go for some lengthy scenes without chopping them off. That becomes a huge problem.
Music by GV Prakash is ordinary and the young talented music director, seems to have been busy juggling between the music director and lead actor roles for the film. He did not manage to pull them off well.
Director and writer, M. Rajesh is a highly successful comedy director. But he misses his timing and script sense in this film. He manages to evoke laughter for few scenes but then fails to make a cohesive film out of it.

Analysis:
M. Rajesh can be associated with good comedy entertainers but these days he has been making films that just drag a gag to make everything hilarious. He needs to concentrate on telling a story with good characters. He cannot just make a decision to change his story in whatever direction without establishing the characters properly. The movie as long as it doesn't try hard, it remains a good comedy but then those parts are very few and annoying factors are plenty. Not a worth watch at a theater near you.
