Story: Bobby (Vijay Devarakonda) is a student leader who suffers from serious anger issues. One day he sees Lilly (Rashmika Mandanna) and immediately falls in love with her. After some incidents, Lilly also accept Bobby's love. But soon, she finds it hard to be in a relationship with one who suffers from anger management issues. Lilly goes into a confused state about her personal life. Meanwhile, a serious issue arises in Lilly's professional life. What is that issue? What happened between Bobby and Lily? Forms the rest of the story
Performances: Vijay Devarakonda who loves to act in different kind of roles got yet another challenging role and has delivered his career best performance. Vijay Devarakonda has been showcasing variations in each of the filma and we can say that the role played in this is also different when compared to his previous ones. He has deliveres an outstanding performance which can be considered as one of the major plus points for this film. Rashmika Mandanna is truly an asset for this film. She has not only looked gorgeous in this film but also has delivered a beautiful performance in this film. Needless to mention that her chemistry with Vijay Devarakonda is mesmerizing. Shruti Ramachandran got a meaty role in this film and she has acted naturally in her role. The rest of the actors also made their presence felt.
Technical Aspects: Director Bharat Kamma has prepared an engaging story for the film. He has not only picked up an interesting story line but also added a beautiful message as well as captivating screenplay. The way he has narrated the script is simply superb and each and every one of the audience can easily connect with the story. Production values by Mythri Movie Makers are top notch. Music by Justin Prabhakaran is amazing. It is known that a couple of songs have already became chartbusters. His BGM in the movie is also pleasant and peppy. Cinematography by Sujith Sarang is smooth and colourful. Editing by Sreejith Sarang is clean.
Verdict: The director has picked a strong message and has delivered it in in an interesting way without making the audience to get bored. The screenplay is extremely engaging and will make the audience stick to the chairs. The movie not only starts off on an interesting note and the director has made the entire first half filled with love, romance and also some light hearted comedy. However, in the second half, the movie becomes emotional and yet entertaining. The pre climax and climax seems will definitely make a strong impact on the audience. Stunning performances and music can be considered as the major plus points of this film and some draggy scenes in the second half are the minus points. Overall, 'Dear Comrade' is definitely an entertaining movie and is like a roller coaster of emotions.
