Manchu Vishnu is known for his comic timing, while young Raj Tharun has made a mark as a young hero with three-back-to-back hits. These two are in a combo for the hilarious entertainer Eedo rakam Aado rakam. Young Sonarika and Hebah Patel add glam quotient to the film. The film hit the marquee on Thursday.
Story:
Happy-go-lucky Arjun (Manchu Vishnu) falls for Neelaveni (Sonarika) . Arjun lies that he is an orphan as Neelaveni wants to marry an orphan. He marries her without informing his father (Rajendraprasad). The twist comes when Neelaveni wants to stay separately from her brother (Abhimanyu Singh) and rents a portion in Arjun's own house without informing him. There she meets Arjun's father (Rajendra Prasad).
Another twist comes when Arjun, who wants to keep his marriage a secret, introduces Ashwin (Raj tharun) as Neelaveni's husband. How both Arjun and Ashwin manage this comedy of errors and confusion forms the storyline.
Performances:
The story is a laugh riot and every actor tries his best ensure the film has loads of good comedy. Veteran actor Rajendraprasad stands out with his superb comic timing. Manchu Vishnu looks stunningly handsome and does his job very well. Raj Tharun looks subdued and could have done his job with aplomb. His role could have been elevated a bit more. Posani too does his job very well. Sonarika and Hebah do not really have much to do except adding glam quotient.
Technical:
Sai Kartik's music is a plus point. the dialogues are laughter-evoking and funny. The editing is sleek. Camera and production values are up to the mark. director G Nageswara Reddy does a good job. The first half of the film is pacy and decent. The second half too has loads of comedy. But, at places, the comedy goes over the top and jarring.
Verdict:
Like Vishnu- Nageswara Reddy's earlier movie 'Denikina Ready', this film too is a thorough entertainer that evokes peels of laughter with comic timing of Vishnu and Raj Tarun and the situations they get in. The first half of the film is fun and frolic. It remains very entertaining.
With all the commercial elements in good measure, Eedorakam Aadorakam is going to join the blockbusters films list this summer. Youth is going to love the movie for sure. The director of the movie has done a very good job.
In the final analysis, this is an out and out comedy entertainer and don't miss.The film at places defies logic and goes over board. Yet, it manages to entertain. Lively taking and delectable performances make this film a racy, pacy comedy entertainer. A truly timepass movie.
