Story
Ajrun (Nikhil), who works in a graphic company, goes to Kerala for the psychological treatment of his friend (Vennala Kishore). There, he meets Amala (Hebah Patel) and gets attracted to her. Amala is a Vijayawada girl who comes for her sister's treatment to Kerala. She suddenly leaves the place wihtout informing him. But Nikhil gets the shock of his life after he comes to know that Amala is haunted by a spirit.
He comes back to Hyderabad. And Amala leaves Nithya's body and enters into Parvathi's body (Nandita Swetha). Now, she runs after Arjun saying she is the one behind all these.
Who is this Amala? Why is she running after Arjun? Is there any sad past? Watch the film on a big screen to know the reasons.
Performances
Nikhil is one of the young heroes who is steadily building a solid resume of work where he never tries to project any heroism and sticks to his role. He has a strong potential to go to another level in the future if he continues to choose right scripts like this.
He is quite impressive as an innocent guy in the film. Hebah Patel is decent in her role. But Nanditha Swetha made full of the opportunity given to her.
Her expressions are quite effective and added more value to the story. Vennela Kishore and Satya succeed in making viewers laugh. Others performed according to their roles.
Technical
Production values are good and the art department has done a wonderful job. Music director Shekhar Chanda's music is good. Camerawork is pretty good and so is the background score. Editing of the film could have better and several scenes in Kerala backdrop can easily chopped off.
Director Ananda has succeeded in engaging the audience. The way story has been narrated is interesting. Story of the film is good and has been written cleverly.

Analysis
The film begins an ordinary note but it soon turns into quite interesting way. The interval twist is very promising.
Several scenes in the second half slack a bit in pace but the film manages to pick up.There is a good entertainment quotient in the film. Second half is a bit slow when compared to the first and some unnecessary scenes disrupts the flow of the movie. The climax of the movie is dragged.
The main leads of the film have done a wonderful job. Nikhil and Nanditha Swtha's expressions gel with the theme of the of the film. The movie was very well supported by some good technicians and quality background work.
Overall, Ekkadiki Potavu Chinnavada has enough thrills which are elevated with a thumping background score. The film has enough thrills and keeps the audience engaged most of the times. Anand manages to keep the entire story pretty engaging until the climax. It's is a decent horror comedy and watchable for good comedy and thrills.
