Rahul Ravindran and Reshmi Menon played the lead roles in a movie that is titled Hyderabad Love Story. The movie was supposed to hit the theatres long back, but it is finally hitting the theatres now. The film is tipped to be a love story. Rahul Ravindran did the film almost four years back. The film unit is expressing confidence that it will become a hit. Let us check the film's review.
Story: Karthik (Rahul Ravindran) works as a civil engineer. At a marriage, he sees Bhagya Lakshmi (Reshmi Menon). Both instantly fall for one another. On the other side, a friend Ali who seems to be too close to Karthik becomes an obstacle for Bhagya Lakshmi's love life with Karthik. The entry of Karthik's ex-girlfriend Vaishnavi (Jiya) also becomes a problem. What happens then? How did the life of Karthik and Bhagya unfold? Reveals the story of the movie.
Performances: The young hero Rahul Ravindran seems to have accepted this movie after Andala Rakshasi success but the movie released today. We can see the massive change in the locations, story and other situations. As a result, the film lacks freshness. Both the heroines are wasted in poorly written roles. There is no scope for performance in the movie. The other actors who acted in the film in the limited roles are good and impressed with their presence.
Technicalities: Amarendranath Reddy handles the film's cinematography. He is okay with his craft and has tried his best to capture some beautiful moments on the screen. The editing by MR Varma is okay. He could have focused more so that the film could have been much crisper. The music failed to impress the audiences and so is the background score. Sunil Kashyap tried to bring the freshness, but it all sounds outdated now. The writing of the movie is weak.
Analysis: There are many minus points in the film than plus points. The film is surely going to come up as a disappointing effort for the makers. It hardly had anything good to appreciate about. The fate of the movie could not have changed it released way back in 2014 or 2015 because the content of the film is pretty much average. The director tried his best in coming up with some decent sequences, but in the end, it shaped up into a completely new product. The producers must be appreciated for putting up some decent production values.
