After the blockbuster Khaidi No 150, VV Vinayak has come up with the film Intteligent. Sai Dharam Tej and Lavanya Tripathi are seen as the lead pair in the movie. The film is grandly hitting the screens today. Check out the review of the film here.
Story Line: Sai Dharam Tej has played a young software engineer named Teju. Teju is a hardworking employee working in a company which is owned by Nanda Kishore (role played by Nasser). Nanda Kishore suddenly commits suicide, and his company comes under the control of a person called Vicky Bhai (Rahul Dev).
Who is Vicky Bhai? Why does he take charge of Nanda Kishore's company? What happens next is to be watched in the theatres only.
Performances: Sai Dharam Tej has done an excellent job in the acting point of view. Except the imitation of Chiranjeevi for Chamak Chamak Cham, rest of the things went well. Dance, action fights are well-executed by Dharam Tej. Just need to focus on story selection hereafter.
Lavanya Tripathi looks beautiful, and she has done justification in the limited role she got. The other actors Nasser, Venu, Rahul Ramakrishna, Kadambari Kiran, Raghu Babu, JP, and Prudhvi performed well.
Technical Aspects: The production values are good. Music by Thaman does not compliment, but the BGM is good. The screenplay is routine and boring. The dragged narration is a huge minus. The editing is okay. The cinematography is good. Camera work is good in the songs. On the whole, the film did not reach the expectations regarding the content and technical values.
Verdict: Neither story nor the narration is excellent. Inttelligent is another routine, commercial movie which fails to keep the audience connected. Very predictable story and routine screenplay lead to boredom. The actors did their part well, but the story plays the most significant negative part.
The first half is a mere disappointment. Even the second half does not serve so much. There are a lot of aspects of the film that went wrong completely, and one will surely wonder if Vinayak himself directed the movie.
