iSmart Shankar is the new movie in the theatres. There is quite a decent buzz on the movie since the time it got launched. The makers also made a positive impression with the theatrical trailer. Ram Pothineni, Nabha Natesh and Niddhi Aggerwal played the lead roles in the movie. Puri produced the film along with Charmee Kaur. The movie released today and check out the reveiw of the film here.
Story: iSmart Shankar (Ram) is a criminal in a murder case. CBI is handling his case and they attempts a memory transfer to iSmart Shankar from a cop named Arun (Satyadev). What circumstances pushed them to do this? What did iSmart Shankar do? How did the story unfold? Forms the story of the movie.
Performances: Ram is truly an asset for this film. The way he has carried his role is simply superb. We can say that Ram is definitely a perfect pick for iSmart Shankar's role as the young hero has proved that he is a versatile actor with his outstanding performance in this film. Both the heroines Nidhhi Agerwal and Nabha Natesh got interesting roles in the film and they have delivered beautiful performances and added more strength for the film. Their chemistry with Ram is also a delight to watch. Sayaji Shinde delivered decent performances. Thulasi and the rest of the cast also made their presence felt.
Technical Aspects: The Production values by Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies and Puri Connects banners are lavish. Music by Mani Sharma is one of the major highlights. His background score added more beauty to the film. Cinematographer Raj Thota has given some amazing visuals for the film. Editing by Junaid Siddique is decent.
Verdict: Each and every scene will have Puri mark which will definitely give an eye feast for the fans. We can say that this movie is definitely going to be a comeback film for Puri who has been struggling with disasters lately. He has narrated the movie in a decent way and will engage the audience throughout the film. He has executed the story really well. The movie will be a delight to watch for a particular section of the audience who are action lovers. For the others, it might be a little bit difficult to get involved in the story. However, Puri's narration is really good and he has executed the story in a beautiful way. The movie starts off on an interesting note and Puri Jagannath has succeeded to keep the audience stick to their chairs from the start to the end. Ram's outstanding performance, screenplay and music are the major highlights of this film whereas the predictable storyline and the weak second half will be the minus points. To conclude, 'iSmart Shankar' is definitely worth watching commercial entertainer.
