Story:
Ramu (Naveen Sanjay) is a college student in a village and loves Janaki (Mouryani) from the same village. Janaki, who is from a rich family, also loves Ramu. When they get close during a excursion trip, their lecture advise them to first settle in their life. So Ramu sets a goal and decides to get married after he achieves it. He goes to Hyderabad to fulfill his goal. Ramu gets a shock of his life when he returns to the village. What is Ramu's goal? What happened to Janaki? forms the crux of the story.
Performances:
Naveen Sanjay has done a decent job in the film. His dialogue delivery is good and ability to perform stunts is commend-worthy. Mouryani will strike a chord with the youth audience. She is beautiful and an innocent sex appeal that makes her desirable.
She also indulged in glamour treat which is attractive. There is good chemistry between the lead pair and the romantic track has been handled well.
Others including Priyanka, Kiran Kamath and Sudarshan performed accordingly.
Technical:
Music by Gifton Elias is definitely an asset to the movie. All songs are shot and choreographed well. But too many songs disturb the flow of the movie a bit. Dilogues are mostly good. Cinematography is nice and rich in colors. Editing could have been better. Production values are rich.
Analysis:
Director Director Tammineedi Sathish Babu succeeds in doing a good job with this movie. He maintained good pace and tempo in the first half of the film. The story of the film is routine but his narrative style is quite novel. The best part in his direction is that there is no elastic narration and everything has fallen in right pace. The second of the movie is little disappointing and editor could have chopped off many scenes to make the film more crisp.
Had he added more twists in in second half the movie would have been more arresting. The romantic track is good and the chemistry between the hero and heroine is a treat to watch. The take off of the movie is interesting and the interval break also interesting. Genrally, most love stories depend heavily on its character artists and everyone in the movie performed well. Dialogues are good and the lead pair bank heavily on well scripted conversations. Mouryani's looks, romantic flavour, the chemistry between the lead pair and cinematography are main assets of the movie. Lack of emotions, forcible comedy and routine scenes are some of the minus points of the movie. The climax could have been better.
Overall, Janaki Ramudu is an average show which may attract youth with it's joyful moments.
