After the success of Garuda Vega, actor Rajasekhar is coming up with his new movie titled Kalki. Prashant Varma who made his directorial debut with the movie AWE is directing this project. Adah Sharma, Poojitha Ponnada, Nanditha Swetha, Rahul Ramakrishna, Siddhu Jonnalagadda and others are a part of the project. Story:
Sekhar Babu (Siddhu Jonnalagadda) is murdered in Kollapur. Kalki (Rajasekhar) is the investigation officer who's solving the case. In the process, he faces a lot of troubles. What are they? Did Kalki solve the case? What happens in the end? Forms the story of the movie.
Performances:
Rajashekhar is definitely the show stealer of this film and has delivered a stunning performance in this movie. He breathes life into his character. Adah Sharma not only looked beautiful but also delivered a sensible performance. Nandita Swetha got a meaty role in the movie and she has delivered her best performance in the film. Shatru and Nasser delivered decent performances in the film. Rahul Ramakrishna will definitely evoke some good laughs in the theatres. Ashutosh Rana's energetic performance will grab attention. Chandradeep is too good in his role. The rest of the cast also made their presence felt.
Technical Aspects:
Production values by C Kalyan under Happy Movies banner are very high. Music by Shravan Bharadwaj is excellent. His catchy tunes elevated all the emotions in the movie very well. Cinematography by Dasaradhi Shivendra is wonderful. Every each and every frame is realistic. Editing by Gautam Nerusu is decent.
Verdict:
Prasanth Varma has already proved that he has some amazing storytelling skills with his debut movie itself. Now he has proved it again with Kalki movie. He has prepared the gripping story for the film which is definitely highlight the movie. Despite having a complicated story, Prasanth Varma narrated it in an easily understandable manner. The opening scene of the movie itself will grab the attention of the audience. The first half is filled with the establishment of the plot and the director will definitely get the right credit for narrating the story in an interesting way. When compared to the first half, the second half is even more interesting and each and every scene will make the audience keep guessing. The pre-climax and climax are handled well. The story itself can be considered as one of the major highlights of the film but the first half a little bit boring. To conclude, 'Kalki' is definitely a worth watching movie which will definitely give us a thrilling ride.
