Vamsi Krishna, who made a decent crime-comedy movie with Dongata, teamed up with Raj Tarun for Kitttu Unnadu Jagratha. Let's see if they have succeeded in delivering a decent entertainer.
Story :
Kittu (Raj Tarun) is a car mechanic but he is forced to take up the job of kidnapping expensive dogs. He demands ransom from the owners. There is a reason behind it and it is interlinked with her girlfriend. He falls in love with Janaki (Anu Emmanuel). Soon, some misunderstandings develop between Kittu and Janaki. Kittu also lands in a problem with a hardcore criminal AR (Arbaaz Khan). Why Kittu kidnap dogs? How does he get back to his love? forms the rest of the story.
Performances :
A role of this nature is a cake walk for Raj Tarun. He effortlessly slips into his character as Kittu. He is energetic and enthusiastic in the lead role. He also looks uber cool. Anu Emmanuel is okay as the female lead.
Prudvi gets a good role as Rechukka and all his comic scenes are hilarious. There is also some good comedy performance by Raghu Babu as fake baba. Arbaaz Khan does a decent job. Naga Babu is ok. Others have performed according to their roles.
Technical :
Anup Rubens music is average. Background score is good. The picturization of the songs is quite quirky and fun.
Production values are top notch and the producer has made sure the film has an ensemble cast. Dialogues are fine. Cinematography by B.Rajashekar is alright.
Editing is not impressive in the second half. Director Vamsi Krishna has come up with an interesting story line for this crime-comedy. He handled the plot very well in the first half. There is too many leaks in the screenplay.

Analysis :
First half of Kittu Unnadu Jagratha is full of fun as the story and narration keep us glued to the seats without much worry. The interval block is also very interesting and set the mood for the second half.
Although the story is narrated in entertainment format with all the characters getting linked up, screenplay in the second half is very weak and it creates messy.
The romance and love story between the lead pair are very weak in the film. The comic episode of Prudvi during the climax is the major highlight of the film. The film is surely an entertainer but there are many loopholes in the plot.
Despite having its share of minor problems, Kitttu Unnadu Jagratha will entertain the viewers. Plus points of the film are first half, Raj Tarun's performance and Prudhvi's comedy. On the flip side, the second half should have been narrated in a more interesting way.
Final Verdict : Kittu Unnadu Jagratha is worth a watch just for its fun quotient.
