Kamal Kamaraju, the popular character artist in Telugu film industry turned the lead for a new Telugu film titled as LAW which is tipped to be a horror movie. Story: Radha (Mouryani) is a person who considers movies as serious things. She gets emotional easily and is a sensitive person. She falls for her friend's brother Vikram (Kamal Kamaraju) at the first sight. Both Vikram and Radha decides to marry each other with the approval of their families. One day, Radha fights with her apartment's watchman who is attacked by her friends. The watchman leaves the apartment and since then, Radha encounters back to back murders. What is the connection of murders with the watchman? Who is the murderer? What is LAW? is the story of the movie.
Performances: Performances wise, everyone has given their best for the film. Kamal Kamaraju is a good actor and it was evident once again with this movie. The director utilized the performer in him very well. Mouryani is good looking and performed well in the movie. Her character came out well. She is sure to grab more offers in Telugu. Pooja Ramachadran, on the other side, played an important role in the movie and entertained everyone. She played her part well and impressed all. Manju Bhargavi played a key role in the film after a long time and she impressed too. The rest of the cast made their presence felt.
Technicalities: The editing and graphics are key for a horror film like this. Both the crafts came up with the best work in the movie. The production values are strong. The camera work is good and elevated the tone of the film well. The music is impressive too.
Verdict: Gagan Gopal is the writer and director of the film who executed an interesting point nicely. With decent performances from the lead actors and a great technical work, the film LAW appears good for most of the screen time. Unlike horror films, this is something different which gives some thrilling moments for the audiences. On the while, LAW is worth a watch.
