Performances:
Naveen Chandra is his usual self in this film. He has done a good job but comedian Prudhvi is the real hero of the film. He is at his best and he succeeded in entertaining viewers with his comedy timing and spoofs.
In fact, the entire film runs on his shoulders and he carried it efficiently. Shruti Sodhi has nothing much to do but oozed the required glamour. Saloni is good and suited well for the character. She also increased glamour dose in the film. Posani Krishna Murali steals the show again as a frustrated producer Thathaa Rao. Others including Murali Sharma, Jayaprakash Reddy, Prabhas Srinu and Dhana Raj have justified to their characters.
Technical:
Music by Sri Vasanth is above average. Background score is decent. The editor should have chopped off some scenes in the second half. Cinematography is ok. Dialogues are good in parts.
The basic story of Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu is old-fashioned, but director succeeded in maintaining grip throughout the film with comedy. Production values are top notch.
Plus Points:
Prudhvi
comedy
glamour
Pre climax
Minus Points:
Editing
Predictable plot
some scenes in second half
Analysis:
It’s a nonstop humor treat from Prudhvi. The first half of Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu has many good moments. Entertainment quotient in the first half is high compare to second half. Prudhvi fits into the role perfectly and he got enough punchlines to keep the audience in splits. The plus points of the film are comedy, pre-climax, Prudvi's character and satirical scenes on the film industry. On the flip side, the film dragged a bit in the second half. It has enough potential to make money at the B and C centers for it's entertainment values.
Overall, Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu is a decent comedy film that does not bore you.
