Mental Madhilo is one of the interesting films which created a buzz even before the release. The makers have planned the promotions in a manner that it creates a special interest among the audiences.
The film stars Sri Vishnu in the male lead and it marks the debut of the female lead Nivetha Pethuraj. The film marks the directional debut of a short filmmaker named Vivek Atreya and the film was produced by Raj Kandukuri who came up with the blockbuster film called Pellichoopulu in the past. Story
Aravind Krishna (Sri Vishnu) is a guy with full of confusion. When his father arranges a wedding match for him, Aravind Krishna likes the girl Swetcha (Nivetha Pethuraj) and she loves him back.
When the wedding is fixed for both, Aravind Krishna moves to Mumbai. At Mumbai, he comes across Renu (Amrutha) and falls for her. The confusion starts again and who did Aravind Krishna chose, in the end, reveals the story of the film.
Performances
Nivetha Pethuraj is very good with her glamour and acting. Her expressions are simply superb. She is sure to attract many filmmakers and grab some reasonable roles in the future. Another actress Amrutha has played her part well in a mysterious role. Both the female actors have played their parts well and impressed everyone.
Sri Vishnu is one of the highlights of the film. He is surely going to be a bankable star from now. His performance is superb from the beginning to the ending. Shivaji Raja is another actor whose acting will be a highlight in the film. He has delivered his part effectively and left an award-winning performance. Raj Madhiraju, Anitha, Madhumani and others are good in their roles. Kiriti Damaraju, Keshav Deepak, Bindu and others are also good and made their presence felt.
Technical Aspects
Technically, the film has got a good scope. The music scored by Prashant Vihari has filled soul in the movie. Every song is apt for the situation and the background score is outstanding. The BGM towards the climax is literally the best in the recent times.
The cinematography is beautiful with impressive framing work. The artwork by Manisha Satyavolu is another big asset for the film. The writing of the film is nice and the editing is good. The production values of the movie are grand. Raj Kandukuri has taken a lot of care in the film and it has been evident while watching the movie.
Verdict
Mental Madhilo is one film that is about people, relations, beauty, attractions, love and life. It is certainly watching ourselves or our lives on the screen. It has got some of the best writings in the recent times and this young team should be credited the success for what they have presented.
With some strong performances and decent technical values, the film was made in a brilliant manner in the available resources. The film is certain to be celebrated. Go and watch it.
