Naga Shaurya is one of the talented actors in the Telugu film industry who proved his multiple talents. As a producer, writer, and actor, Shaurya now gears up for the grand release of the movie Ashwathama which also stars Mehreen Kaur in the leading lady role. There is already a positive buzz on the film. Shaurya makes his debut as a story writer with the movie. There are heavy expectations on the project already. Story:
Aswathama is an easy-going guy whose sister is going to get married very soon. But Aswathama's happy life takes a shocking turn when he learns that his sister is pregnant with another man's child. When he tries to dig deep into the story, Aswathama finds some mysterious and strange stories that have been taking place in society. What will Aswathama do now? Can he save his sister's life. What happens in the end? Forms the rest of the story.
Performances:
Naga Shourya's outstanding performance is undoubtedly one of the major driving factors for the audience. The actor has carried the entire movie on his shoulders and his energetic performance added more strength to the film. Mehreen Pirzada is extremely gorgeous in the film and also delivered an honest performance in the film. Sargun Kaur gave her hundred percent in essaying her role. Jayaprakash delivered an honest performance in the film. Satya Akkala'sccomedy timing is too good. Sanjay Swaroop did justice to his role. The rest of the actors also made their presence felt.
Technical Aspects:
Naga Shaurya should get extra credit for his amazing and gripping storyline. He has written an engaging storyline for the film. Also, Director Ramana Teja has executed it in a decent way and has narrated the story by making the audience stick to the chairs. Production values by Ira Creations are lavish. Music by Sri Charan Pakala is definitely the highlight of the film. Not only a couple of songs, but also his astounding BGM will grab the attention of the audience. Cinematographer Manojh Reddy has produced some beautiful visuals for the film. His camera angles are also quite impressive. Editing by Garry BH is clean. Parasuram Srinivas' has penned some impactful dialogues for the film. The runtime is crisp.
Verdict:
Having a solid story became a biggest plus point for this movie. The film starts off on an interesting note and the first 30 minutes itself will make the audience connect well with the storyline. The story also has some interesting twists at regular intervals which will keep the audience engaged throughout the film. Despite having some small flaws which are absolutely negligible, the movie has so many positives including outstanding performances by the actors, elevating BGM, captivating visuals and also intriguing storyline. Though some boring scenes in the second half will drag the story, on the whole, Aswathama is definitely a must-watch action entertainer.
