Anand Ravi who has worked as a writer for the film Prathinidhi has turned director with the film called Napoleon. He also made his acting debut with the film and he has come up with an interesting message with the movie.

Story
Napoleon (Anand Ravi) is a guy who complains to the cops that his shadow is missing. The police officers investigate it and realise that the shadow is really missing. They even send him to the doctors who do not solve it but tells that everything is fine with him. but the doctors tell that there is nothing to work. On the other side, an accident takes place in Nandi Nagar where Tirupati (Anil) dies but soon, Napolean reveals that it is a pre-planned murder but not an accident. The cops investigate and realise that what Napoleon said was true. Slowly, police start believing whatever Napoleon says.

Performances
Anand Ravi who played the lead role acted well in the film. He had shown different variations in the role of Ashok as well as Napolean. Though it is a debut for him, he performed well. Komali who played his wife was good and impressed everyone. Ravi Varma who is seen as a police officer is nice and impressive in the role he was offered. Bhanu Avirneni who played Tirupathi character is also good. Kedar Shankar played a good role and impressed as a police officer.
Technical Aspects
Anand Ravi has provided the story, screenplay and he directed the film. He also turned producer and took the responsibility of entire film on his shoulders. The pre-climax is a major highlight in the film and it came out in an interesting manner. The background music has elevated the film to a certain extent and the songs that come in the background are good. The cinematography is rich and the editing is crispy. Though we find some lags in the second half, the film impresses towards the ending.
Verdict
The film Napoleon is coming as a film with mixed genres. The film mainly appears as a suspense thriller. Very rarely, we come across a story like this. The film starts with an interesting point and turns out to be an interesting thriller of chasing a murder mystery. There are a lot of interesting elements in the movie that created a lot of interest to watch the film until the end. The screenplay of the film was written well and the audiences will definitely enjoy it. The twists in the second half of the film have come out well. The director stuck to what he wanted to tell and did not get deviated with unnecessary commercial elements. On a whole, the film is an interesting watch and give it a try.
