To impress mass audience is what Nara Rohith is best at. Take it the dialogue delivery or the body language, he have the essence of attracting the mass. And whenever Rohith attempts any project there is a lot of speculation among the audience and fans. Let us see if Rohith's mass image is being justified in this movie Asura. The title itself seems to be so mass and solid.
Story Line and Roles:
Rohith plays the role of a cop(Jailer) who's name is Dharma Teja. Dharma works as a jailer and he has been shown as a very strict officer who does not spare anyone. Dharma's parents get killed in his childhood in a very illegitimate way. From then Dharma takes this kind of aggressive attitude towards criminals. Coming to the love elements, Dharma loves his college mate Haarika the role played by actress Priya Benerjee. Going deep into the story In the prison where Dharma works as a jailer, is a person called Charlie(Ravi Varma) who has been sentenced to death for killing of his step mother. Charlie always had plans to escape from the jail in order to skip his punishment. In this process he offers another prisoner named Sudhakar a bail and promises him that he will give him diamonds if he helps Charlie in the escape after going out. Sudhakar after being out from the prison starts planning how to escape Charlie from the jail. The twist in the movie comes here when three main people get kidnapped by Sudhakar's gang. Who are the three people? Do they hang Charlie up? To know this you have to go to the theaters.
Performances:
Nara Rohith's performance as the angry young jailer is the main attraction for the movie. He even showed it in his body language. His dialogue delivery style also attract the attention of fans. The way he narrates the poems and the style he delivers in making those meaningful is very good. The villain of the movie Ravi Varma performed equally well and showed villanism. Priya Benerjee performed well too. All the roles have done probably a considerable amount of justice.
Technical Aspects:
This is the debut movie for the director Krishna Vijay. Even though it is his first flick he maintained a good clarity. The tempo of story narration is too good. Music and back score goes perfectly along with the story. Editing, Cinematography and all other elements are being delivered up to the mark.Though it is a first production for Rohith he have executed it quite well.
Review:
Asura story is good. Screen play and taking are definitely plus. First half is very interesting when compared to the second half. There is a suspense in second half. There is a twist in the end that is really difficult to guess. The scenes in which charlie is taken to hang are the best. The suspense and the twist are the best points in the movie.
Over all conclusion is that this is definitely a commercial hit in the list of Nara Rohith's movies.
