Trisha's horror comedy film Nayaki has hit the theaters on Friday. Directed by Goverdhan Reddy, the film features Satyam Rajesh, Sushma Raj and Ganesh Venkatraman in lead roles.
Story:
Sanjay (Satyam Rajesh) is a short filmmaker. He and his friend Sandhya (Sushma Raj) planed to go to a farm house in Shamirpet in Hyderabad to spend some private time together. But on their way to the guest house they got struck up at a mansion in Dindigul which has been haunted for 35 years. The people who went to that place have never returned.
Even, the government has restricted entry into that mansion as several persons have been missing over the years.
Will Sanjay and Sandhya return from that place?. What consequences they face? Who haunted Trisha? forms the rest of the story.
Performances:
Trisha is just ok and this character could not bring her much needed attention.
Major credit should go to Satyam Rajesh for putting in a believable performance and he brings many laughs.
Ganesh Venkataraman , who played a negative role for the first time, does justice to his character. Others including Kovai Sarala and Maguvala Megastar are okay in their roles.
Technical:
Raghu Kunche's music is very bad and three songs are not at all impressive in this film.But Sai Karthik's background score is good. Editing is also very bad. Nayaki is a low budget film with poor production values. Screenplay is also not gripping but the camera work is quite impressive.

Analysis:
The makers of the film have projected to be a horror flick but those who go to theaters thinking it is a horror film will be mistaken completely. There are no such scenes that genuinely scares you.
The twists and turns are predictable and the movie runs at a snail's pace that will test the patience of the audience. The beginning scenes may generate some curiosity but as the movie progresses on it loses its path. The first of the movie may entertain the viewers to some extent, but second half of the movie has absolutely nothing to offer as it turned out to be stale and routine.
Overall, you can simply avoid this movie and wait for the TV telecast.
