Puri Jagannadh’s brother Sairam Shankar has been waiting for a hit from a very long time. Now, he is coming up with ‘Nenorakam’ which created good buzz with its promotions. Let us see how the film fared.
Story
As we don’t want to spoil the viewing experience by revealing the story, we would stop by giving an outline of the film.
Hero’s lover gets kidnapped. What does hero do to save his girl and what is the reason for her kidnap forms the crux of the story.
Performances
Sairam Shankar shows maturity in his acting as well as the story selection. He performs his role to ease. Heroine plays her part well and looks pretty good.
Seasoned actor Sharath Kumar brought in a lot of weight to this film. His acting prowess comes handy in this film and is perfectly apt for that role. All other actors were adequate.
Filmybuzz Analysis:
Cinematography by Siddarth is quite good and suits the mood of the film. Music by Mahit is good and all other departments like dialogues, art work helped for this film’s finesse. Production values by Srikanth are very good and richness could be seen onscreen.
Coming to director Sudarshan, he does his job with aplomb by keeping the film interesting all the time. Though he takes time in getting into the story, he never bores you. His screenplay deserves a special mention as he placed twists at the right time.
Had he taken more care on the comedy and love tracks, the film would have reached the next stage.
The first half should have been dealt in a gripping way. Especially, the comedy scenes during the first half are half baked. Lot of comedians like Prudhvi, Giri, Harsha and other ‘Jagardasth’ gang were not used to their full capabilities.
Final Verdict:
On the whole, ‘Nenorakam’ is an interesting film with some strong performances from the lead cast. It is a film to watch out this weekend and hope it gets good appreciation from the audience.
