Story
Babu (Nani) is a happy go lucky type guy who makes many attempts to clear his backlogs in B.tech. He falls in love with a beautiful girl from a caring family. He tries his best to woo Keerthi (Keerthy Suresh). Though he failed in initial attempts, Nani managed to impress her.
While everything is going hunky-dory in their love, Keerthi's father, who is Babu's professor, opposes the love. The rest of the story is about how Babu handled the situation and gets Keerthi.
Performance
Natural star Nani is in his usual best and delivers yet another impactful performance. Nani's mannerisms, expressions, body language and dialogue delivery are too good. His timing is exemplary and he also looks uber cool in the film. Keerthy Suresh, who mesmarized everyone with her performance in Nenu Sailaja, scores brownie points with her beauty and acting prowess. Her chemistry with Nani is a treat to watch.
Andala Rakshasi fame Naveen Chandra showcases good acting skills. Posani Krishna Murali is hilarious. Sachin Kedekar performed well in the role of Keerthy Suresh's dad. Others performed according to their roles.
Technical
Tollywood's rock star DSP's music is the major pillar to the movie as he has given youthful tunes. Background score is very apt. Camera Work is top notch. Editing is not impressive and could have trimmed many scenes in the second half. Dialogues from Prasanna Kumar Bezawada are good and the one-liners hit the right chord with the audience.
Director Trinadh Rao picked up a routine subject but he succeeded to entertain with different narration as he did with 'Cinema Choopistha Mama'. The director's command on the script and the way he blended comedy should be applauded. Production Values are rich.

Analysis
Natural star Nani is the most bankable star among the mid range heroes at the moment and he has become a minimum guarantee hero. This time Nani tried to strengthen Though the director picked up a routine stuff, it is Nani's performance which is striking a chord with the audience. He puts his comic timing to good use in Nenu Local and he elevated normal scenes to a whole new level with his performance. He tried his best to save the movie from being dull in many scenes.
First half has full fun and the love track between Nani and Keerthy Suresh has come out well. The songs and visuals keep us glued to the seats. Compared to First Half, Graph of Second Half falls drastically. Story becomes predictable during the pre-climax and the way the proceedings ended in the climax is also not impressive.
Situational comedy, good songs, funny dialogues, beautiful love track are the lifelines of Nenu Local. Routine story and predictable second half are the negative points. . Overall, Nenu Local lives up to the promise it has shown and it goes well with the mass audience.
Final verdict : Routine flick...But it will Click...
